Commodity RateFeedback.png

Commodity rate refers to a transportation rate published for specific commodities without regard to classification. Carriers commonly publish commodity rates when a large quantity of product moves between the two locations on a regular basis. When a commodity rate exists, it supersedes the corresponding class rate or exception rate.[1]
