Total distribution is the sum of All Commodity Volume (ACV) or Product Category Volume (PCV) distribution for all of a brand’s stock-keeping units (SKUs), calculated individually. By contrast with simple brand ACV or PCV, which are based on the all commodity or product-category sales of all stores that carry at least one SKU of a brand, total distribution also reflects the number of SKUs of the brand that is carried by those stores.
